Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The physico-mechanical bases of the disintegration of contaminants on the internal surfaces of production equipment are examined during the deformation of its walls under percussive effects. Theoretical criteria are obtained for evaluation of the parameters of mechanical oscillations of the walls of production equipment: the deformation-energy curves of the zone of the percussive effect, which correspond to the strength condition of the plate, and also data required for development of an appropriate percussive electroimpulse device.
