Comparative analysis of domestic preserving materials for protection of ferrous rolled metal from corrosion

Abstract

Comparative analysis is given for contemporary preserving materials produced by leading Russian enterprises, i.e., inhibiting oils and plastic compounds used for protecting rolled metal objects during storage and transportation. It is shown that new materials are more long-lasting in operation and have high physicochemical properties, simplicity in application, and they are more economically beneficial.
