Abstract
Factors are noted that affect the formation of mineral and microbiological deposits in water circulation supply systems of oil processing plants (OPP). The most widespread measures are considered for protection from biodeposits; chlorination using hypochlorite; water treatment with copper sulfate; water treatment with organic biocides. Results are provided for a study of protection of OPP water systems from corrosion using different corrosion inhibitors of complex action.
