A new-generation pumping equipment for oil refineries

Abstract

The nomenclature of a new-generation pumping equipment for the oil refining industry has been discussed. Designs and field of operating parameters of various types of pumps, e.g., centrifugal, horizontal, single-flow sectional and two-casing, single-and multi-stage, and cradle-mounted pumps, and pumps with or without preconnected impeller and with vane outlet, are given. All of the new-generation pumps have good vibrodynamic parameters and a fairly high efficiency.
