Abstract
The movement of a liquid in a vertical cylinder executing planetary motion is examined. The materialdistribution profile in the cylinder is plotted.
An expression is derived for determination of the maximum height of liquid ascent as a function of rotational speed of the carrier, and the extent to which the cylinder is filled; this relationship can be used to determine the height required for the cylinder.
