Abstract
A study has been made on the effects of hydrodynamic conditions and surface finish on the pollution by metal particles in an antibiotic preparation. It is found that the specific amount of metal particles in the preparation varies with the stirrer rotation frequency and with the number of operations and the roughness of the inner surface. The specific number of metal particles in the preparation is related to Re for various levels of roughness.
