Abstract
The Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI) was established as a new society for cardiovascular (CV) imaging in the region (April 29, 2006). The annual meetings were successfully held for recent 2 years. The number of the members of the ASCI has been increasing. As of November 30, 2008, the ASCI has 603 members from 28 countries. The ASCI aims to satisfy the academic needs of Asian and Oceanian doctors interested in CV imaging and it is committed to ensuring further development of CV imaging.
