Oils and lubricants based on high-viscosity heavy crude oil from the Ashal’chinskoe field

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

The potential content and properties of oil distillate fractions of heavy crude oil from the Ashal’chinskoe field are analyzed. The properties of the lubricants obtained from these fractions are studied. Theoretical possibility of use of this type of hydrocarbon feedstock for production of commercial motor oils and conserving lubricants is shown.
