  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Abstract

Fast laboratory methods have been developed for sufficiently reliably differentiating motor oils (primarily diesel oils) by qualification groups. These methods can be successfully used for developing new motor oil compositions and for assessing the correspondence of motor oils on the market to the claimed quality level, including for revealing counterfeit and pirated products.
