A broadband spiral applicator antenna for microwave radiothermometry

  • Published:
Biomedical Engineering Aims and scope

Abstract

The main characteristics of a printed helical applicator antenna intended for use in devices for microwave radiothermometry were modeled. An approach to increasing the noise immunity of the antenna by using absorbing material on the outer surface of the shielding housing is proposed.
