First Experience of Hydrodynamic Testing of Pediatric Heart Valve Bioprostheses in the Aortic Position

  • Published:
Biomedical Engineering Aims and scope

A model of the systemic circulation was used to study the hydrodynamic characteristics of new pediatric heart valve bioprostheses with seat diameters of 11 and 15 mm in the aortic position. The initial results obtained here confirm the prospects for further research on the development of heart valve bioprostheses for neonates and infants.
