A Web App for Personalized Assembly of Lower-Limb Modular Prostheses

  • Published:
Biomedical Engineering Aims and scope

The challenge of multicriterion selection of lower-limb prosthesis components is discussed. The issue of developing software for a global electronic database of prosthetic modules for modular prostheses for the disabled is considered. The database is intended for remote use by specialists. Successfully solving this challenge should accelerate the development of personalized prosthetics and improve the quality of the medical rehabilitation of the disabled.
