The main approaches to the development of a digital twin for the Russian-made KLT-6 radiotherapy system are discussed and a structural scheme is presented. The system is presently being developed at the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. Questions of increasing the reliability of the major systems of the KLT-6 using the digital twin are assessed. The use of a 3D scanning system with virtual reality is proposed to improve the user characteristics and ensure the competitiveness of the system.
