A novel method and equipment for measuring concentration of polyhexamethylene guanidine in multicomponent medical disinfectants on the basis of UV spectrometry is described. Basic characteristics and the structural diagram of the automated spectrophotometer are described, and the software is described. The results of the trials of the system in comparison with the results of the conventional photometric method based on the reaction with eosin are given.
