Detection and Processing of Multilevel Acoustic Cardiograms

Auscultation often fails to detect the entirety of low-level and low-frequency heart sounds. Digital detection and processing make it possible to detect sounds missed by auscultation. Acoustic cardiograph records multilevel cardiograms in wavelet transform mode (acoustic cardiograms) for cardiologic diagnosis. Examples of acoustic cardiograms, as well as main characteristics of the process of analysis of heart sounds in patients with various diseases, are given in this work.
