The innovative medical diagnostic technology of microfocal roentgenography is described. In contrast to conventional X-ray, microfocal roentgenography increases the information value of X-ray images, decreases the radiation load on patients and medical personnel, and reduces electric power consumption. The diagnostic value of microfocal roentgenography is particularly pronounced in traumatology.
