Express Monitoring of Quality of Prepared Drugs

  • Published:
Biomedical Engineering Aims and scope

A new device for drug monitoring was developed and tested. The principle of this device is based on detection of spectral characteristics of studied objects – electromagnetic radiation on their irradiation with pulse and continuous sources of laser and non-laser radiation and X-ray and electron beams. The device provides real-time monitoring of molecular and element structure of medical products using absorption (reflection), fluorescence, and Raman scattering spectroscopy. No preliminary sample preparation is required.
