The Association’s annual awards were presented at the Banquet, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seoul. President-Elect Irwin Waldman served as the master of ceremonies.

The 33rd Annual Thompson Award for the best presentation by an associate member was presented by Meike Bartels to three oral presentations: Benjamin Neale for ‘Genome-wide association analysis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’, Jaime Derringer for ‘A candidate system scoring approach to genome-wide data: Illustration of aggregate main and interactive effects of dopaminergic genes and religious service attendance on sensation seeking and cocaine dependence’ and to Lannie Ligthart for ‘Shared genetic factors influencing migraine and anxious depression’.

The seventh annual Fuller and Scott Award for outstanding early career contributions to the field was presented by Past President Pierre Roubertoux to Arpana Agrawal.

The tenth annual Fulker Award for the outstanding paper in Behavior Genetics during the past year was presented by John Hewitt, Editor of Behavior Genetics, to Jonas Olofsson and colleagues for their paper “Odor identification deficit as a predictor of 5 year global cognitive change: interactive effects with age and ApoE-ε4”.

Past-President Dorret Boomsma presented the 33rd annual Dobzhansky Award for outstanding lifetime contributions to the field of behavior genetics to Andrew Heath.
