The article presents results of research and development in creating new combined neutron-detecting materials based on scintillating polymer elements, as well as actinide dioxide radiators. New functional combinations of materials for detecting neutrons in a wide energy range are proposed. The obtained spectral and counting rate characteristics of the samples can be used in the selective detection of neutron flux components and the subsequent separation of signals.
