Computational-Theoretical Investigations of Thermophysical and Physicochemical Processes Occurring During Severe Accidents at NPP–VVER

  • Published:
Atomic Energy Aims and scope

Computational-theoretical work performed at Aleksandrov NITI since the early 1990s on thermophysical and physicochemical processes unfolding in the course of severe accidents in NPP with water-moderated and -cooled power reactors is reported. The investigations were focused on the development and efficacy of systems and devices for catching melt.
