Two-Phase Module Adaptation for Simulating Separation Processes in Multicomponent Mixtures

  • Published:
Atomic Energy Aims and scope

The results of an adaptation of a two-phase CFD-module for a model of long-term retention of contact discontinuities in the problems of stratification in two-component mixtures are presented. A computational module adapted for parallel computing using GPU and CPU graphics processors showed good performance on hybrid supercomputers. The results of one-dimensional calculations that are in accord with analytical calculations are shown.
