Investigation of gaseous fractions of radioactive Iodine

  • Published:
Atomic Energy Aims and scope

Abstract

The results of investigations of the formation and certain properties of the almost unsorbable gaseous fraction of radioactive iodine are presented. It is shown that the gaseous fraction of radioactive iodine can be transformed into an aerosol state to increase the iodine capture efficiency of sorption-filtering materials.
