The problem of asynchronous rotation of massive stars in close binary systems is investigated in this paper. A massive star with twice the sun’s mass, a convective core, and an external radiative transfer zone (envelope) is examined. The model takes into account the influence of the companion on the star. It is assumed that the tidal flow is dissipated through radiative viscosity. The asynchrony of massive stars is explained by pseudosynchronization and differential rotation of the star.
