An Unnoticed Significance of the Chandrasekhar Mass Limit

Simultaneous occurrence of the three fundamental constants G, ħ , and c and hence the role of Planck mass in the Chandrasekhar mass limit is critically examined in the light of cosmology, by incorporating the cosmological constant through vacuum fluctuation at Planck scale and the holographic principle. A new interpretation of the cosmological constant problem is also put forward.
