Active Stage of the Object CH Cyg B in 2014-2015

  • Published:
Astrophysics Aims and scope

The results of spectral and photometric observations of the emission object CH Cyg are presented. The active stage of CH Cyg during 2014-2015 showed up as an increase in the brightnesses to B~7m.8 and V~6m.8, intensification of the continuum, and increased fluxes in emission lines. A rapid, within days, variability in the emission line profiles was observed. The velocities of individual absorption components were as high as ~3000 km/s.
