A runaway binary star escaping from the Θ1 ori system

  • Published:
Astrophysics Aims and scope

A runaway binary star escaping in runaway from the multiple system Θ1 Ori C is studied. The radial velocities of both components are measured and radial velocity curves are constructed and solved for them. The physical parameters and chemical compositions of the stars are determined.
