Abstract

We study an inflationary model which a tachyon field, that is nonminimally coupled to the Gauss-Bonnet term, drives the inflation. The primordial perturbations in this setup are studied with details. By taking an exponential potential into account and performing a numerical analysis on the perturbation parameters, we obtain some constraints on the Gauss-Bonnet coupling parameter. Finally, the non-Gaussianity feature of the primordial tachyonic perturbations in this setup is studied.
