Abstract

Propagation of ion acoustic solitary waves are studied in e-p-i plasmas containing high relativistic ions, Maxwell–Boltzmann distributed positrons and nonthermal electrons. Reductive perturbation method is used and the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is derived. The effects of high relativistic ions and nonthermal electrons on soliton characters are studied.
