Notes
The General Social Survey (GSS) is an ongoing, National Science Foundation funded, full-probability, national, computer-assisted personal interview survey examining the social beliefs and behaviors of residence-inhabiting adults in the USA aged 18 or older. The GSS undergoes institutional review board (IRB) review by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. Further details can be found at gss.norc.org.
