Summary
We introduce the notion of homogeneous perfect sets as a generalization of Cantor type sets and determine their exact dimension based on the length of their fundamental intervals and the gaps between them. Some earlier results regarding the dimension of Cantor type sets are shown to be special cases of our main theorem.
