Abstract
Chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) is often accompanied by comorbidities. Accompanying cardiovascular diseases and lung cancer have an influence on the mortality of patients with COPD. An early diagnosis and consistent treatment are presumably the key to favorably influence the morbidity and mortality, particularly for cardiovascular comorbidities.
