Abstract
We report on a 67-year-old woman with a non-small-cell lung carcinoma of the left lobus inferior. Three months after neoadjuvant treatment and R0 resection, hepatic, skin, and osteolytic metastases and pleural carcinosis were detected. Palliative chemotherapy with gemcitabine was stopped due to mucositis and nausea. Bisphosphonates were given monthly. After this, a palliative second-line therapy with erlotinib was started. The patient developed a severe rash but achieved a long partial remission of the lung, hepatic, and skin lesions.
