Correction to: Journal of Public Health
While the tables inside the article already contain the correct numbers, there were two necessary changes due to transcription mistakes during the publication process.
First, in“Results” in the abstract, the number of extracted outcomes (including the distribution of their results) was changed. The corrections were as follows:
-
Total number of extracted outcomes changed from 298 to 296.
-
Number of outcomes that was not affected by shared decision making changed from 204 to 205.
-
Number of outcomes that improved at least slightly changed from 83 to 81.
-
Number of outcomes that declined changed from 9 to 7.
-
Number of outcomes with mixed results changed from 2 to 3.
The numbers mentioned beforehand were corrected the same way inside the main text in“Synthesis of results.”
Second, the distribution of effect levels in“Synthesis of results” was corrected as follows:
-
Number of individual outcomes changed from 113 to 111.
-
Number of systemic outcomes changed from 34 to 33.
-
Number of clinical outcomes changed from 110 to 111.
Both changes do not affect the conclusions drawn and originate from the transcription rather than methodical mistakes.
The original article has been corrected.
