Zusammenfassung

Die Natura 2000 Richtlinien sind Hemmschuh zahlreicher Genehmigungsverfahren für industrielle Projekte in Deutschland, auch für die Rohstoffgewinnung. Die Richtlinien werden durch einen Fitness Check der EU Kommission derzeit überprüft. Eine durchgeführte Internetkonsultation brachte interessante Ergebnisse. Der Artikel behandelt die Frage, ob dieser Prozess eine Chance ist, die Natura 2000 Richtlinien praktikabler zu gestalten und wie dies erfolgen könnte.
