Summary

Diagnostic methods of mycobacterial species can lead to significant problems. This article aims at guiding through the great number of mycobacteriaceae, differentiating between atypical and tuberculous mycobacterials, answering diagnostic questions, therefore making early specific therapy possible.

Zusammenfassung

Große Schwierigkeiten können bei der Diagnostik mit Mykobakterien entstehen. Dieser Artikel soll einen Leitfaden durch die Palette der Mycobacteriaceae darstellen, atypische von tuberkulösen Mykobakterien trennen, diagnostische Fragen klären um durch schnellere diagnostische Möglichkeiten eine gezielte Therapie zu ermöglichen.
