Abstract
In 2015, leaf blight was detected on Sansevieria trifasciata in several states of Malaysia. The fungi isolated from the symptomatic lesions were identified as Lasiodiplodia brasiliense, L. hormozganensis, L. iraniensis, L. pseudotheobromae, and L. theobromae based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of partial ITS region and TEF1-α gene. The pathogenicity of the isolates was confirmed after their reisolation from inoculated leaves.
