Zusammenfassung
Dieser Übersichtsartikel fasst die makroskopische und funktionelle Neuroanatomie des Frontallappens (Lobus frontalis) und der Insula (Lobus insularis) des menschlichen Endhirns zusammen. Dieses Wissen ist von entscheidender Bedeutung für die exakte Beschreibung der Lokalisation fokaler Prozesse und der funktionsmorphologischen Einordnung der entstehenden Symptomatik im Rahmen von Epilepsien.
Abstract
This review article focuses on the gross and functional neuroanatomy of both the frontal lobes and the insula of the human brain. This knowledge is of decisive importance for the exact description of the localization of focal pathological conditions and the functional morphological interpretation of the symptoms in epilepsy.
