Zusammenfassung

Seit 1999 veranstalten die Deutsche und Österreichische Gesellschaft für Epileptologie und die Schweizerische Epilepsie-Liga alle 2 Jahre eine gemeinsame Tagung, zuletzt 2019 in Basel. Die 12. Tagung wird 2021 in Berlin stattfinden, die 13. in Österreich 2023. Mit jeweils rund 1000 Teilnehmern und einer Fortbildungsakademie haben sich diese Tagungen inzwischen in Ergänzung zu den nationalen und europäischen Epilepsiekongressen etabliert.

Abstract

Since 1999 the German and Austrian Societies for Epileptology and the Swiss Epilepsy League hold a joint conference every 2 years, most recently 2019 in Basel. The 12th conference will take place in Berlin in 2021 and the 13th in Austria in 2023. With each having around 1000 participants and a training academy, these conferences have now become established in addition to the national and European epilepsy congresses.
