Abstract
In this paper, the traditional therapist working in Quebec State shows her experience with the essential oil of red spruce. The traditional uses of the natives of the North-East of North America are exposed. She evokes the scientific data about the red spruce (Picea rubens Sarg.) giving a comparison with the essential oil of the black spruce (Picea mariana) and the white spruce (Picea glauca). This bornyle acetate characterized oil can be used in inflammatory states. The author shows its interest in treating psoriasis.
