Abstract

Morinda citrifolia is a bush from tropical regions whose fruit gives an edible juice more commonly known as noni juice. Since December 2002 the EU has authorized it as a new food, but the credibility of its healthy properties has been tainted by bad reviews within the field of western science. New research has however shown the antioxidant and immunostimulant properties that make noni juice a real alicament.
