Abstract
Antiangiogenic therapies have an increasing place in oncology. The frequency of their use leads the occurring of underestimated, particularly, neurological, adverse effects. We report a case of optic neuritis attributed to the treatment by sunitinib in a patient with renal cancer.
Résumé
Les traitements antiangiogéniques occupent une place croissante en oncologie. La fréquence de leur utilisation induit l’apparition d’effets secondaires jusqu’alors sous-estimés, notamment neurologiques. Nous rapportons un cas de névrite optique attribuée au traitement par sunitinib chez une patiente atteinte d’un cancer du rein.
