Abstract:

In this article we shall discuss the subject of target therapies concerning squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Indeed, taking into account the molecular modifications generated by the carcinogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, new treatment strategies have been developed and have joined the arsenal of conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy. These new molecules target the molecular alterations and block the metabolic tracts by acting on the tumoral progression. The leader is the receptor for EGF (the EGFR).
