The Editorial Office of the Journal of Plant Research (JPR) is issuing an Editorial Expression of Concern for this Article.
The corresponding author contacted the Journal of Plant Research on September 2020 to request a correction after concerns were raised by an anonymous reader that Fig. 7a contains duplicated line 1 and 2.
After investigating, the editors found there was a significant similarity between lines 1 and 2, lines 3 and 4 and lines 5 and 6 in the original figure.
The replacement figure is included below.
Authors Małgorzata Janicka-Russak, Katarzyna Kabała and Anna Wdowikowska agree to this Editorial Expression of concern. The editor was not able to obtain a current email address for Author Grażyna Kłobus as she is retired.
