Abstract
Preclinical studies have shown that I-ONE therapy controls inflammation, protects cartilage and favours chondrocytes’ metabolic activity. Prospective, randomized and double-blind studies have shown that IONE therapy enhances patients’ functional recovery and controls local pain due to the inflammatory reaction elicited by the arthroscopic treatment. I-ONE therapy is without side effects, induces an effective chondroprotection, it is indicated immediately after knee surgery and has positive long term effects.
