Abstract

The avulsion fracture of the calcaneal tuberosity is a rare entity. Surgery is the main therapeutic method. We report two cases of avulsion fracture, the first in a man of 20 years and the second in a diabetic 60-year-old woman. Through these illustrations of the avulsion fracture of the large calcaneal tuberosity confronted with data literature, we discuss the clinical and therapeutic interventions for this injury.
