ISJ meeting, Gifu, 23–26 September 2016

The 49th annual meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan (ISJ) will be held at Gifu University (http://www.gifu-u.ac.jp/en/access/) in Gifu City, Japan from 23 to 26 September 2016. The board of editors and trustees will be held on 23 September, and scientific sessions including oral and poster presentations on 24 and 25 September. One symposium entitled “Theory and practice of sustainable lotic ecosystem conservation in ecology of bitterling fishes (Cyprinidae, Acheilognathinae) and freshwater mussels (Unionidae)” will be held on 26 September.
