2009 ISJ Meeting, Tokyo, 9–12 October 2009

The 42nd annual meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan (ISJ) will be held at the Shinagawa Campus of the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (http://www.kaiyodai.ac.jp/English/index.html) in Tokyo, Japan from 9 to 12 October 2009, co-hosted by the National Museum of Nature and Science, the Ocean Research Institute of University of Tokyo, and the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. Following meetings of the board of editors and trustees on 9 October 2009, scientific sessions including oral and poster presentations will be held from 10 to 12 October. Three symposia entitled “Adaptive divergence in Japanese native fishes: patterns, mechanisms and ecological genomic perspectives”, “Saving fishes from global warming: the challenge for ichthyologists”, and “Domestic alien species of fishes in Japan: present aspects and problems” will be held on 12 October.
