Abstract:

A large variety of rectal foreign bodies have been reported in the literature. Ingenious methods have been described for the retrieval of these foreign bodies. We present the case of an unusual foreign body in the recto-sigmoid region. A review of the literature is presented and a management strategy is suggested.
