Abstract

Scientific land development ensures regional ecological and geo-environmental safety and promotes the sustainable development of society, economy and ecology. Weifang North Plain was taken as the study area to carry out the land use zoning based on the principle of ecological priority and geo-environmental suitability of agricultural land and construction land. Variable weight-analytic hierarchy process-comprehensive criterion (VW-AHP-CC) model and the maximum value method were used in the study. As a result, Weifang North Plain was classified as first-level ecological control region, second-level ecological control region, permanent capital farmland, general capital farmland, environmental facilities land, residential public service land, industrial logistics warehouse land, and public lawn, accounting for 16.10%, 41.92%, 6.87%, 16.41%, 2.85%, 7.12%, 6.85%, and 1.88% of Weifang North Plain, respectively. Ecological land is mainly located in the northern, central, and western regions of Weifang North Plain; agricultural land is in the center of Changyi County and south of Shouguang County and Hanting District; construction land is in the center of Shouguang County and south of Changyi County. Results can provide ecological and geological basis for the optimal allocation of land use pattern in Weifang North Plain, which avoids the ecological degradation and geo-environmental deterioration.
