Zusammenfassung

Kindernotfälle bei Hausgeburten sind selten, können den Notarzt jedoch vor immense Herausforderungen stellen. Im Vordergrund stehen die Initiierung und Aufrechterhaltung der Ventilation. Ist diese gesichert, stellt sich eine normale Herztätigkeit meist von selbst ein.

Abstract

Paediatric emergencies in home births are rare but reveal a special challenge for the first responding action force. First-line action is the initiation of breathing and maintenance of ventilation. Once ventilation has been established effectively, circulation will start automatically in most cases.
